Even though it wasn\u2019t long ago that Smith &amp; Wesson released their Shield Plus, they\u2019re starting 2022 off with a bang, announcing yet another micro-compact, the CSX.<\/p>\n<p>The CSX, however, isn&#8217;t just another higher capacity micro-compact. It&#8217;s smaller than the Shield Plus, but still carries 10+1 onboard and has an optional 12+1 magazine with it.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2044 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mytacticaledc.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/12615-sw-OnWhite-3Q-Right.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"500\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The CSX kind of looks the offspring of a Shield and a 1911 only tiny. It\u2019s a hammer-fired, single action 1911-ish slide and fire control system mated to an aluminum frame with Shield-like interchangeable backstraps.
