My FDE Poly80 PFS9 continues to get tweaked from its configuration when I built it back in the fall. It has a Renegade Defense Battleworn FDE slide, a Battleworn FDE trigger and magwell from Steel City Arsenal, assorted FDE lower components, and I initially had a Rock Island Armory .22TCM 9r barrel installed.
I figured when I did that that I’d also get a 9mm barrel for it for general shooting. I recently picked up a threaded 9mm barrel and thread protector from AIM Surplus and swapped the .22TCM out for it. I wanted a threaded barrel so that I can use my suppressor with the Pfs9 if I wanted to. I also swapped out the fiber optic sights for a set of optics height night sights from Night Fision that have a tritium front dot and black serrated rear blade. These will allow dropping a red dot sight on easily if I decide to go that route in the future.
My loadout with the pistol has been a Bawidamann Doughboy double knuck in Naval Bronze, a SOG Pentagon OTF automatic, and a Streamlight 66608 250 Lumen MicroStream. The 17+1 pistol, a spare mag, the knucks, the auto and the light make for a pretty formidable EDC package that’s still pretty easy to carry.
