When Kimber first announced the K6s revolver a few years back it was a surprise coming from a traditionally 1911 based company. It’s proven to be a solid concealed carry contender though and a solid performer. For folks who like the Kimber quality, and appreciate the K6s form factor but didn’t want the weight of an all steel gun, then the K6XS may be just the gun for you.
Featuring an alloy frame and a fluted cylinder Kimber keeps the weight of the K6XS to just under a pound. It’s chambered for .38 Special +P rounds and holds 6, as opposed to 5 from most of it’s competitors.
