This set up was a long time in coming. I’ve been working on this PF45 for over a year and keep having light strike issues. I swapped the frame and slide internals out to Glock OEM parts, and eventually got a Hooper Gun Works Titan slide which cleared up my issues. She runs like a champ now and is ready for carry.
The pistol is an OD Green PF45 in .45 ACP, using OEM mags with Tango Down Vickers base plates. The Titan slide is from Hooper Gun Works, with a Lone Wolf Arms Alphawolf threaded barrel and XS Big Dot Sights. I’m currently running 230gr Speer Gold Dot hollow points in it so with one spare mag and one in the chamber I have 27 rounds on tap.
I’ve been running the pistol at the range with a pair of 5.11 Competition Shooting 2.0 Gloves which are pretty nice. Nice snug fit that let you work the gun’s controls easily and they’re even touch screen friendly.
My other gear consists of an ASP Raptor 2000 lumen tac light that uses an internally chargeable 18650 battery, an OD green We Knife Co. OSS neck knife, an OD green B’yond EDC Nighthorse Navaja folder (which is a ridiculously good value), and a Bawidamann DB-3 Doughboy, three finger knuck.
