It was only last fall that we covered the release of the Bear Creek Arsenal aluminum framed striker fired pistol, the GENES1S. BCA has made a number of upgrades though and is now releasing the GENES1S II. Changes include rounding the grip frame and stipling for a better grip, photoluminescent sights, an ambidextrous magazine release, and a larger trigger guard. MSRP is $499.99 which is pretty competitive for an aluminum frame striker fired pistol. Here’s some more info from BCA:
BCA introduces the Genes1s II, with perfect ergonomics and stippling for the perfect grip and controllability. Made from high-quality stainless steel and aluminum will give you the perfect balance with less recoil. The Genes1s II is optic ready and comes with striking metal sights with photoluminescent aiming dots for low-light shooting for easy target acquisition. Another unique feature is the ambidextrous magazine release which is proprietary to BCA. It is designed to accommodate all shooters. The barrel is black nitride, and comes threaded (thread protector included), making it suppressor ready. The underneath of the frame has a picatinny rail to attach accessories such as a flashlight, laser, etc.
